The Commonwealth Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) allows for up to $1,000 of basic dental services over a two-year period for eligible children aged between two and seventeen. Bundoora Family Dental Clinic is proud to be a local child dental benefits schedule dentist for Bundoora, Greensborough, Watsonia, Rosanna, Mill Park, Heidelberg, Ivanhoe, Macleod, Reservoir, Lalor, Mernda and South Morang families.
What Does it Cover?
The CDBS covers a range of preventative and restorative dental treatments, including:
- Fissure sealing
- Root canals
Please note that the child dental scheme does not cover orthodontic work, cosmetic dental work or services provided in a hospital.

- Make an appointment with Bundoora Family Dental Clinic and let us know that you are eligible for the scheme.
- Before providing services, your child dental benefits schedule dentist will discuss treatment and any related costs with you.
